Asian Care UK

Asian Care UK is a dedicated provider of a wide range of residential services for Asian adults with mental health issues. We have a number of services throughout England, with new services currently being developed.

Across our services we have staff members who have the linguistic skills to communicate fluently in the following languages, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujrati, Urdu, Bengali and translators can be provided if required for other languages. This ensures that all identified spiritual and cultural needs are addressed and met through positive and effective communication.

 

patient criteria

  • May have dual diagnosis or complex care needs
  • Aiming for a return to the community or appropriate long-term placement
  • IQ above 70
  • Male and Female
  • May be Sectioned under the Mental Health Act 1983
  • Primary diagnosis of mental illness
  • Age range 18-65 years

Typically, Patients have been diagnosed with Schizo-Affective Disorder, Bi-Polar Affective Disorder or Depression
